Why did you decide to pursue a career in Massage Therapy?
I decide to pursue a career in massage therapy because I love to help people and wanted a career where I can do that, theirs is nursing but I just didn’t like that career to much.
What was your favourite part of the massage program?
My favorite part I would say is all the hands on we got. And of course, the instructor I had. I learned so much from Mr. Teddy.
What was your favourite hands on modality to learn?
I had so many favorite hands-on modalities, I learn but I will say the psoas released/ lower-back and cupping.
What was the most valuable take-aways?
I say all the learning and extra modality that we received.
What are you looking forward to learning more about when you graduate?
I am looking forward to learn about lymphatic massage.
How has OSTMY changed your perspective?
What change my perspective was all the hands – on we did, because at first I thought there wasn’t going to be enough hands – on.
What specific strengths have you discovered about yourself?
I would say learning how I am a good massage therapist.
What massage therapy setting do you see yourself utilising your newly acquired skills?
I will work at spa and then open my own business
What is your biggest piece of advice for anyone interested in joining this program?
I would say practice make perfect.
