Why did you decide to pursue a career in Massage Therapy? 

I wanted to pursue a career in which I could help people. I’ve always been drawn to therapeutic work as well as the intricacies of the human body and how it functions. Massage Therapy has been something I had thought about for years but wasn’t something I thought I could actually pursue. Eventually, I decided to go for it and that has proven to be one of my greatest decisions in life yet! I can’t wait to introduce a healthy, therapeutic touch to people’s lives, and I am excited to learn new things every day for the rest of my career.

What was your favourite part of the massage program?

Too many things to count! I think the education is Top. Notch at inspirit, better that I think I could get anywhere else! The personal friendship and connections made are some that will last a lifetime.

 I really enjoyed learning cupping

What are you looking forward to learning more about when you graduate?

Geriatric massage.

How has ISHA changed your perspective?

My eyes have been opened to a whole world about the intricacies in the body and all its connections. I also didn’t know a lot about anergy work, so I’m excited to expand my knowledge of that world.

What specific strengths have you discovered about yourself?

I understood the learning material much more quickly than I thought. I think I have also been able to affectively apply what I’ve learned to the hands-on side.

What massage therapy setting do you see yourself utilising your newly acquired skills?

 I want to apply my knowledge for my clients benefits and my quality of touch to bring healing and love to people who may be lacking.

What is your biggest piece of advice for anyone interested in joining this program?

Join for sure! It can seem overwhelming at times, but everything comes together the further you go! Take it a day at the time and celebrate all the wins!

What is your current mission statement?

To promote and provide healing which caters to each individuals’ client’s needs, through clinical assessment and therapeutic touch in a safe, clean and professional environment.
