We encourage all prospective students to schedule a time to actually come to a class and observe. This is an excellent opportunity to meet your teacher and see if our school environment resonates with you!


1. What kind of credentials does the school have?

Inspirit School of Healing Arts (ISHA) is a private school licensed by the FL Department of Education and approved by the Florida State Board of Massage Therapy. YES we are legit! Our school code is 5633.

2. Will I receive a massage therapy license after graduating from the school?

After graduating from ISHA or any massage school you must take and PASS the MBLEX (Massage & Bodywork Licensing Exam) at an approved testing facility outside of the school. The cost of this exam is $195.00. If you do not pass on your first attempt you will have to wait 30 days and pay once again to take the test over.

Currently our school has an excellent pass rate of 90%!!!!

After passing this exam you can then apply for your Florida state massage therapy license. The cost of this license is $150.00 and you will have to renew this every 2 years to massage legally!

3. Do you accept financial aid or payment plans?

No we do not accept financial aid at this time. YES we do accept payment plans! We do not want finances to stand in your way so we can create custom plans for you. We are also one of the most affordable schools at $5,840 for the complete cost of our program!  For more details please see our Tuition Page.

4. Do I need a Social Security number to attend school?

YES! In order to receive your massage therapy license you will need a social security number therefore we do not accept students without this information. There are absolutely no exceptions.

5. Who makes up the student body?

ISHA is proud of its diverse student body made up of individuals of all ages and walks of life. Professionals with daytime jobs often attend evening classes to transform their careers and their lives, while daytime courses often serve those who need to be home in the evening for their families. Students just beginning their post-secondary education love the nurturing environment at ISHA. We value uniqueness and diversity and honor that no two individuals, learning styles or living situations are identical.

6. Who are ISHA’s teachers?

ISHA’s faculty members are experienced instructors with a thorough understanding of the material and courses. They are also working professionals in the field of massage therapy. Our teachers facilitate the courses by fostering community, connection, and deep learning. 7. If I signup for the massage program do I have to do yoga?

No you do not have to practice yoga although we do teach a variety of self care techniques to help you maintain longevity in your career as a massage therapist.  We do encourage & welcome our students to practice yoga to tap deeper into the healing energy present within. This higher awareness can add to your massage practice immensely.

8. Do you help with job placement?

YES! We provide students and alumni with ongoing career placement assistance as well as entrepreneurial support to those planning to create and grow their own private practices or businesses. We have created an online central Florida massage therapy school alumni group, which offers life-long connection and support. We post all current jobs available for employment and we encourage our graduates to share opportunities as well.
