Led by passionate percussionist and community facilitator Reka of Rhythm & We, the class draws inspiration from her years of study with Traditional West African drum masters from the Ivory Coast and Nigeria. Her teaching honors the cultural roots of the music while making drumming approachable, engaging, and welcoming for students of all backgrounds and experience levels.

Rhythm, Connection & Well-Being

Drumming is more than learning how to play an instrument. The repetitive nature of rhythm can encourage focus and present-moment awareness, while group drumming creates a unique experience of listening, responding, and creating something together.

Our classes are designed to provide an environment where participants can step away from everyday stress, express themselves creatively, build confidence, and experience the energy of shared rhythm.

At Inspirit, we believe healing and personal growth can happen through many pathways—including movement, music, creativity, mindfulness, and community. This class brings those elements together through the universal language of rhythm.
